Event Details
This month’s jam theme is Y2K. As always, feel free to interpret the theme however you like!Optional Challenge: Use tech, tools, instruments, or samples from the early 2000’s
The optional challenge is just for fun! You don’t get any bonus points for completing it; it’s just an extra mechanic to provide some inspiration.
About the Jam
The little song jam is meant to be a chill, low-pressure opportunity to make some tunes. There's no voting or ranking system, just encouragement and good vibes!
schedule
The Jam runs monthly. The theme is voted on at the start of the jam, and once decided, you have one month to make a song.
location
Submit your songs on the event page! Also, jam streams will be hosted over on Twitch.
equipment
Make your tracks using any tools you like; it doesn't have to be Dreams (but it certainly can be!). Feel free to use this as a space to experiment with new tools and techniques.

That hadron collider machine messed up reality.
I've been looking at old videos on the net and look what I found.
In reality I remixed some films and tv programmes , added my own sounds and even subtitles .
Some films are from the year 2000 ,some are just there cos I enjoyed doing these.
Tried a new technique by using a video editor app called Capcut instead of my usual software
These are all parodies
Tom N Lickle Jez
Wild life files with Clarence Biddington
Stormtrooper Sami
The Sparta Drop
Black Katana hidden Dreamers
Bassline Bart

None of their loops or riffs just one shots.
This song is on mp3 but as a little bonus the add on is the link below
Disclaimer ... Blackcat voice-over was not originally in the game
Disclaimer 2 ... actual track shown has utilised the biddy add on after the Blackcat voice over but until that point only original music 2000 game samples used.
Purchase the unofficial music 2000 biddy add on for only £29.99

Hello. Been a while.
I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do as a track, as I really felt like I needed to do something after disappearing for 3 months. For Y2K, I figured popular genres would focus on EDM such as trance, eurodance, hardcore, etc. In my case, I wanted to try something new, so I decided to try out UK Hardcore.
Y'all know my friend, AniFae on Dreams ─ he can do this stuff with his eyes closed, so I asked him to help me out on this one since I have *no* idea on what makes proper hardcore.
It turned out nicely. Y'all good with 'em glowsticks?
Runtime 7:20

Hello again! It’s good to be back! This track was made for the Y2K Little Song Jam.
Previously I had dabbled in some 90s Jungle for the Backwards Jam, and of course the theme for this month had caught my eye once again. I’ve decided to use some vocal samples from Beyoncé’s catalogue (as well as other Y2K samples), the main sample of this track being Beyoncé’s ‘Me, Myself and I’ from 2003. The main genre I chose this time was Footwork/Juke with some Jersey Club influences, to blend a high energy club beat with smooth early 2000’s R&B elements, mixing in some Y2K cliche’s in there too.
Hoping to get around to music more! Enjoy xx

1 of 2 back-to-back tracks for the Y2K jam!
A bit more serious, but in-the-zone kinda’ music.
Samples:
FPS Doug - Boom Headshot!
CS 1.6 - Announcer SFX
Anifae's Ultimate CLUBLAND & Rave Sample Pack

Those summer nights as a kid in the late 90s and early 2000s, up until midnight watching anime when suddenly your ear holes became stimulated by those odd Gregorian EDM ad commercials.
This moment inspired my entry into today's jam. With the talented vocal choir instrumentals of Bella, Wiley, Victor (SaucelessOne), and Dan (3kco), I created a fun, trancy, and funky track that will get you all lost in the enigma of the beautiful V01D

Made for the upcoming Y2K Jam.
One of things in life I have a monumental passion for, is 2D animation. Particulary 2D Hand Drawn Cel animation, from Disney to Don Bluth, Richard Williams to Ralph Bakshi, 70's 80s and 90s Anime, to the weird and obscure, to the experimental and Arthouse. So, with this piece, I wanted to pay homage to an absolute cult classic...
...the animated movie "Heavy Metal" from 1981, remixing it into a early 2000's Club Trance style track, that was very popular at the time.
The track begins with an intro, that features a segment of the actual orchestral score from the movie (composed by Elmer Bernstein), that will transition into the track itself.
The track almost feels like a fable, between the forces of good vs evil, as the female warrior "Taarna", the last surviving Taarakian, protector and gurdian, sworn by oath and a pact of old, stands and fights alone, for an uncertain future, and into the depths of oblivion.
The Pact:
"To defend...this is the Pact.
But when life loses its value...
...and is taken for naught...
...then the pact is...to avenge."
Hope Ya'll Enjoy!

A new trance music for LittleSong.Place's Y2k jam. This one has multiple note loops, but varies throughout its play. Includes some other dreamers' looped instruments like BacktoMan 's demonstrations, but I added neat twists to them.

Entry for the Y2K Jam — it might be a bit of a stretch, but this song was born out of experiments with a vocaloid. Enjoy :3
