Light falls to usher in the dark
Ancient evil persists by the threshold of fire
Against it, twilight bears no mark
Take heed, lest you suffer vampiric ire
I had some inspiration to use track #12 from the OST of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, the sequel to the 1985 Vampire Hunter D OVA. "Sunlight" is the name, the song composed by Marco D'Ambrosio. The scene depicts a melancholy happenstance as the sun rises, but this time the meaning is to start at dusk, just before facing the dangers of twilight.
I had much more planned for the project, but it got away from me. If you haven't seen the movie, I urge y'all to watch it. It's a stellar testament to what you can do with animation. Enjoy!

“Crossroads at the end of the world.
The reset button begs indentation, lest the earth be befouled by utmost hubris.
With fate's hand at north, we are the last generation.”
Written with a mix of C Minor and E Major, plus a combo of electronic and orchestral music that I personally most associate with Kirby: Planet Robobot’s final boss.

This one's been a nice track to compose. I ultimately landed on G# Harmonic Minor, as that's what I found in my research in what makes good winter tracks—they're quite mystical, so that's the vibe I went with.
Eventually, I hit a "rising sun" kind of feel, as if a new dawn gave rise to a cold snap to signal the forthcoming frigid fortnight. Try saying that five times fast. ;)
Enjoy!

This took several iterations before landing on where it is. Not entirely sure what the story would be, as it's my most experimental track to date.
The rite of passage—that to live and die.
Also, it's a mix of E Minor Natural & E Minor Harmonic, as the scale was actually pulled from a famously haunting track—"Lavendar Town", from Pokemon.
Spoopy enough...? :/
